German Mill Day 2024 - KLOSTERPARK Boitzenburg

Over 650 mills throughout Germany opened their doors, including the over 250-year-old Monastery Mill in Boitzenburg.

Fantastic setting, beautiful spring weather, wonderful and relaxed atmosphere: As part of German Mill Day 2024, around 1,500 people made their way to the Monastery Mill in Boitzenburg on Whit Monday! In addition to free guided tours of the mill, a farrier also demonstrated his skills, visitors could try archery or blow soap bubbles, enjoy culinary delights at numerous food stalls, or be enchanted by the fairy tale performed by the local theater group “Mühlengeister” (Mill Spirits). The UMBRUCH Gruppe was also on site with a series of posters showing the planning status of the Monastery Tavern. A big thank you to the many volunteers from the Boitzenburg region who once again made the Mill Festival a great success this year!
