Thank you, Boitzenburger Land!

We are absolutely delighted with the voting result following the municipal council meeting on February 26, 2025: 11 of 14 council members voted in favour. There were two abstentions and one vote against. This approves the sale of the monastery mill, including the adjacent barn, to our UMBRUCH Group. The months and years ahead will still demand a great deal from us; today, above all, we are:

1. Grateful for the trust. The monastery grounds with the mill have an invaluable historical, cultural and emotional value for the municipality. All the more, we would like to thank you for your trust in our plans. Our public-benefit promise stands: KLOSTERPARK Boitzenburg is being created for the municipality. And it is being created together with the municipality.

2. Proud of what has been achieved. Almost two years ago, our shared journey began with the purchase of the monastery barn. Since then, we have increasingly felt how the UMBRUCH Group, the partners involved and, above all, the local residents are pulling together. That something can be created together. We are already proud of this sign of a shared new beginning, which we also want to send outward to the whole of the Uckermark.

3. Full of energy and respect for what lies ahead. KLOSTERPARK Boitzenburg has so far been a vision. With the decision of the municipal council, it becomes reality. As much as we are pleased today, we also know exactly: the work is only just beginning. We are ready to invest and get stuck in. Because we know that we have many local residents, politicians and experts at our side.

February 26, 2025 was a great day for the UMBRUCH Group. Now we will do everything we can to ensure that it will be a great day for the future of Boitzenburger Land.
