Around 100 interested citizens and community representatives from Boitzenburg and other locations in the Boitzenburger Land gathered on November 28 in the gymnasium of the Boitzenburg primary and comprehensive school to learn about the plans for KLOSTERPARK Boitzenburg.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Daniel Haver presented the current status of the inn renovation as well as information on the planned acquisition of the monastery mill and barn by the non-profit UMBRUCH Gemeinwohl gGmbH. He highlighted new perspectives for the mill museum, supplemented by remarks from the renowned museum expert Dr. Kurt Winkler, who is part of the project team. Above all stood the grand vision of KLOSTERPARK Boitzenburg, a synonym for the joint development and marketing of the area surrounding the monastery ruins.<\/p>\n

We can only express our gratitude for the great interest, the many questions, the support expressed, and also for the critical comments and discussions. The evening confirmed our commitment to continue sharpening our vision with transparency, openness, and in dialogue with the community and citizens to sustainably move the region forward together.<\/p>\n

In January, we will address further questions in various municipal committees and then look forward with anticipation to the vote by the municipal council at the end of February 2025, when the decision on the sale of the mill and barn will be made.<\/p>\n
